The contract amount is the awarded value on file at time of award — not necessarily total lifetime spend for contracts that get modified or extended later. This dataset doesn't include a project address, so no borough/location breakdown is shown. "Spending by Agency" and "Top Awarded Vendors" are both year-to-date sums, independent of whatever filters are applied to the table above. Vendor names link to a company profile using the same DOB permit-history lookup as Companies — a winning agency vendor won't always be a DOB permit-holder (large infrastructure/design contracts in particular often aren't), so a "no permit history found" result there is normal, not an error.
