Common Questions

How many NYC construction contracts are open for bid right now?
As of September 15, 2026, 75 construction and design opportunities are open across 11 NYC agencies in the City's Current Solicitations records — 46 with a fixed deadline, 7 of them closing within 7 days, and 29 prequalified lists that enroll vendors on a rolling basis.
How do I bid on a New York City construction contract?
Find the opportunity in the City's PASSPort procurement portal by its PIN, obtain the bid documents from the address or portal the notice names, attend any pre-bid conference it lists (some are mandatory), and submit before the due date and time. Each opportunity page here lists those details as the agency filed them.
What is a prequalified list (PQL)?
A list of vendors an agency has qualified in advance for a category of work, which it can then invite to compete for individual contracts. 29 of the open listings here are prequalified lists enrolling on a rolling basis; agencies file them with placeholder due dates years in the future, which this page shows as "Rolling enrollment" rather than as a deadline.
Which NYC agencies have the most open construction solicitations?
Design and Construction (34), NYC Health + Hospitals (10), Parks and Recreation (7), counting each opportunity once even when an agency has re-posted it.

Methodology

Sourced live from the City's "Current Solicitations" dataset (Mayor's Office of Contract Services), filtered to the Construction/Construction Services and Construction Related Services categories and to notices whose due date hasn't passed. The feed repeats itself: agencies re-post the same prequalified list year after year, sometimes under a placeholder PIN of "N/A", so rows are merged when agency, title and PIN match — never on PIN alone, because one PIN can cover two different projects. Due dates years in the future are placeholders for rolling enrollment and are shown that way. Deadlines are the City's local time. This site doesn't accept bids; respond through the agency or PASSPort as each notice directs. Last read Sep 15, 2026.
