Jersey City & Hoboken Construction
Every other page on Constructel NYC covers New York City itself, sourced from NYC's own DOB records. This page is different and deliberately smaller: real construction-permit data for Jersey City and Hoboken, New Jersey, from the state's own Department of Community Affairs — summary counts and cost only, since this source doesn't include street addresses, owner names, or coordinates the way NYC's DOB data does.
Sourced live from New Jersey's statewide Construction Permit Data (NJ Dept. of Community Affairs, via data.nj.gov). This dataset records municipality, block/lot, permit type, fees, and filed construction cost — no street address, applicant/owner name, or coordinates, so no map or per-permit browsable list is shown here the way it is for NYC filings elsewhere on this site. Each municipality reports on its own real schedule: confirmed live that Hoboken's data is current (most recent permit within days), while Jersey City's own reporting into this statewide dataset has lagged well behind — its most recent permit on file is disclosed above, not hidden or backfilled with an assumption of "today." Each city's figures below cover that city's own most recent 12-month window, anchored to its own latest date on file, not a shared calendar-year assumption that would misrepresent a lagging reporter as having zero activity.

Looking for Westchester County, NY? We looked — Westchester itself only publishes GIS/parcel data, not permit transactions, and permits there are issued by 45+ individual towns and villages, none of which expose a public API. There's no real, live source to build this page from yet.
