It is not a revenue, quality, or safety ranking: NYC's public data doesn't include contractor revenue or safety ratings, so none is shown here. There's no dedicated "General Contractors" trade filter above: unlike plumbing or electrical, general contracting has no distinguishing keyword in a company's registered name, so this citywide ranking — spanning every trade — is the honest stand-in for a GC-specific list.
