Midtown Bus Terminal Replacement
A full replacement of the Port Authority's 1950-built Midtown Bus Terminal, the busiest bus terminal in the world by passenger volume. The plan replaces the aging terminal in two phases rather than closing it during construction: a temporary interim terminal is built first, the existing 1950 structure is then demolished, and a new permanent main terminal is built on the same site.
